About the Surgical Scissors Set
This surgical scissors set contains three operating scissors: a 17 cm straight Mayo scissor for heavy tissue and sutures, an 18 cm curved Metzenbaum scissor for delicate dissection, and an 11.5 cm Iris scissor for fine work.
Material and finish
Each scissor is forged from AISI 420 surgical stainless steel with a satin finish that reduces glare under theatre lights. Blades are hand-honed and tested on latex before dispatch.
Care
Clean immediately after use, dry thoroughly and steam-autoclave at 121–134 °C. Lubricate the box joint with instrument milk monthly.
